Bancroft Lofts will offer 258 apartments within a renovated mill building and a new six-story podium building. There will be 26 affordable apartments ready for occupancy starting in Winter 2021 which will be rented to households with incomes at or below 80% of the area median income. The rehabilitated Bancroft Building will contain 160 unique loft-style units with large windows, high ceilings and exposed industrial features. A ground-up podium building will also contain 98 newly-constructed upscale units in four floors situated above a two-level parking garage. It will include a half-acre outdoor courtyard and amenity space with a pool, indoor/outdoor event space, and seating areas. There will also be a 4,500 SF amenity center that will house a large fitness studio, co-working and community meeting space, and a gallery/event space.
